FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Torus Power® Toroidal Isolation Transformers Power and Protect 12th Annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest Exhibitors.

Torus Power serves as power foundation for Burmeister, Metronome Technologie, and JRiver Demonstrations

TORONTO, ON, CANADA – (September 30, 2015) – Torus Power, maker of uncompromising, clean, Toroidal Isolation transformer-based power components announced today that it will be showing its AVR20, RM 15 Plus, RM5, and TOT Max Toroidal Isolation transformers at the 12th Annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) as part of demonstrations from Burmeister and Metronome Technologie (Room #570) and JRiver (Room #2016), October 2–4 at the Denver Tech Center Marriott in Colorado.

The event is one of the largest audio and home entertainment shows in the United States, featuring more than 160 exhibit spaces representing more than 400 companies from North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. RMAF also features live entertainment, informative seminars, equipment show specials, and prize drawings throughout the weekend.

The JRiver room (#2016) will feature Torus Power RM 15 and RM5 power isolation transformers providing pure, isolated power to a system consisting of JTR speakers, an HTPC, Motu amplifiers, and GIK acoustic room treatments, along with a front-projection home theater system.

“By isolating the power supply from AV equipment, Torus Power products protect expensive equipment and prolongs its life, while producing dramatic improvements in audio quality,” says Kevin Main, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Torus Power. “When RMAF attendees hear these demos featuring Torus Power isolation transformers, they will be blown away by the audible difference and overall performance.”

Torus Power RM series isolation transformers are unrivaled in performance, protection, and relative value. The RM 15 being shown at RMAF is ideal for mid-size systems and features some of Torus Power’s top technology, including toroidal power isolation, NBT noise-filtering technology, surge suppression, and more. Combined, these dynamic technologies deliver tighter bass response, increased dynamic range and definition and a lower noise floor, while Toroidal Isolation functions completely protect connected components from the effects of inadequate power as well as surges, spikes, and other damaging electrical events.

The Metronome Technologie / Torus Power room (#570), will feature Torus Power AVR20, AVR15Plus, and TOT Max isolation transformers, which will serve as the foundation for the system being demonstrated. The AVR series features automatic voltage regulation plus Plitron’s NBT noise-filtering technology to restore incoming power to its clean original state, and its low source impedance ensures audiophile quality sound regardless of power-line conditions. TOT Max provides similar features and functionality in a smaller, more affordable footprint.

RMAF attendees will also get to see the Torus Power AVR2 and TOT Max power products, in rooms with systems containing other top-end products.

About Torus Power

Toroidal Isolation transformers by Torus Power are the world’s finest clean power source for audio, video, and control systems. Dramatically increasing performance levels of connected AV components from video displays to speakers, Torus Power products utilize Plitron Manufacturing’s patented NBT technologies and medical-grade Toroidal Isolation transformers to eliminate virtually all power-line noise artifacts and protect equipment from potentially damaging AC power line events, while increasing system reliability and extending product life. Establishing clean, isolated, and uninterrupted incoming power from which connected components can draw upon and use, Torus Power products deliver higher levels of instantaneous current which ensures that dynamic components and high performance systems are never compromised, nor starved for power.

Built to rigorous specifications under Plitron Manufacturing’s ISO 9001 quality control system in Toronto, Canada, Torus Power’s Toroidal Isolation transformers—the heart of the Torus Power product line—utilize similar technologies as those found in leading AV amplifiers as well as in industrial, medical, broadcast, telecommunications, IT, power conditioning, and energy management applications.
